I began my design career at Radica developing licensed products for Mattel’s Barbie brand and Radica’s own Girl Tech line—an assignment well outside my personal interests at the time. Early on, this challenge became an opportunity to expand my creative range by designing products that blended emerging technology with imaginative play patterns. Despite the unfamiliar territory, the work demanded the same rigor as any other product: creating innovative, engaging experiences that inspired creativity, interaction, and a sense of fun for a new generation of users.
