When timelines are tight and stakes are high, speed comes from clear goals and decisive constraints. This was my final project at Trek: the 2019 Powerfly LT 9.9. Delivered on an aggressive schedule, the program focused on developing a carbon-fiber, Bosch-powered electric mountain bike integrating Trek’s new internal battery system, RIB. I worked closely with an exceptional engineering team and partnered with designer Erik Eagleman on the user interaction design for the RIB battery system.
