Trek Session 88

The Session 88 was a groundbreaking downhill mountain bike that reshaped both the category and Trek’s approach to developing bikes at this level. The close integration of world-class design and engineering resulted in a bike that still resonates more than a decade later.

We did an article with Dirt Magazine out of the UK - we were doing an experiment to see how we could cut drag on the bike and the rider to improve their run time. It was 20% science, 80% marketing - but all a lot of fun!
